LiDAR sensors precisely measure distance using light; specifically, an Infrared (IR) light emitter, usually laser-based, and an IR receiver. LiDAR measures distance by tracking the time it takes for an emitted light pulse to reach a target and return to the receiver. AI software is then used to analyse the LiDAR output and recognise the objects in its Field of View (FOV.)
By combining LiDAR technology with our system integration, optical, electronics, and software capabilities, we can provide automakers with standalone or fully integrated solutions.
