Mr. Iijima joined KKR in 2014 and is a member of the Private Equity team.
Prior to joining KKR, he worked at Carlyle Group as a vice president and subsequently worked at Carlyle Group’s portfolio company, Tsubaki Nakashima, where he was involved in supporting the management team. From 2001 to 2007, Mr. Iijima was a director at UBS Investment Banking, based in London and Tokyo. He focused on consumer products and the retail sector and was involved in a number of mergers and acquisitions. From 1999 to 2001, he worked at Mitsubishi Corporation. He holds a B.A. in Law from Keio University.
